Cineastre is a property discovery tool operated from France. This policy explains what data we process when you use the site. It is provided in good faith and is not legal advice; it should be reviewed by qualified counsel before commercial launch.
1. Location data
When you press “Use my location”, your browser asks for your permission and, if you agree, provides approximate coordinates. Those coordinates are sent to our server for a single purpose: to look up the surrounding area and run a property search. They are used for that request only and are not stored in a database, sold, or used for advertising profiling. You can refuse location access at any time and search by city, neighbourhood or postcode instead.
2. Search inputs
Filters you enter (budget, rooms, surface area, radius, selected sources) are processed to build the search query. Search queries may be transmitted to third-party search and language-model providers that power the results.
3. Contact form
Investor and partnership enquiries open your own email client and are sent directly to info@cineastre.com. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to answer you.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary local storage to remember that you dismissed the consent notice. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Sponsored placements on the site are static images that link out; they do not track you on Cineastre.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because searches are not linked to an account, we usually hold no data to retrieve. To exercise a right or lodge a complaint, write to info@cineastre.com. You may also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
6. Third-party listings
Cineastre links out to property portals. Once you follow a link, that portal's own privacy policy applies. Always verify listing details on the source site.
